Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs and beat until light. Add remaining cake ingredients, except flour. Gradually add in flour and mix well. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Mix topping ingredients together. Sprinkle into a greased tube pan 1/3 of the topping. Scoop in ½ the cake batter. Sprinkle an additional 1/3 of the topping ingredients. Layer remaining cake batter. Top with last of the topping. Bang pan on countertop to level. Use a chopstick to poke holes randomly in dough. Bake 50-60 minutes.
